  are there any more plans over the autumn and winter months for any more trails to be built,i think the new downhill route that was developed was a big hit this year and has been ridden quite often.i keep looking at the bombholes behind the first north shore drop and thought a trail would be quite suited to that area.maybe a mix of downhill and north shore.there are still plenty of features on the hill that we could develop into some flowy trails, any thoughts?:D :D

We have been discussing the odd different line. I think work will be starting on the race track to put some new lines in for the next race. Also there has been discussion of a step up on the race track. Just before the quaggy bit before the first table there is a right hand turn/burm. The thought out plan is to go straight on there and have the step up langing on the table top, or if you really are going for it, use it as a double and land on the transition of the table.... These are only thoughts at the minute which fish is considering i think. Just keep your eye out ;)

sounds really good, the tabletop area defenetly needs some time and thought too amend the water logging problem, maybe like you said james,a step up would keep us off the ground in that area!

The one thing we havn't got is ROCKS however i'm on a mission to change this,....i noticed the rapid development of the "48" when the race date was announced so expect an announcement along those lines soon.....the race will be down the triple T so this means we'll sort the finish out ( right handed hip to flatish tranny to single track after "Loco" ) and install a "Rock garden"...as you've probably worked out (think wall rides) this ain't gonna be no garden rockery  i've a meeting with club supporter "James Kendall tree services" who's mate owns a very local quarry........game on  and i've been collecting rocks for about three years :D ......Race and trail building dates to be announced shortly.

cheers Mr Fish

How about some doubles, Fragy Me and Dave were talking about it on the way back from wales and we fragy suggested a 10ft 15ft and a 20ft just for something different. Rock garden sounds immence!

step downs are ok but the FC don't like any thing remotely like a fierce double :( however.........;)

Couldn't we have a double that can be rolled, could you get away with that.

the conversation we had was actually about having a triple set of table tops down the side of the road which you could get speed for from the tower, which would then enable people to progress a bit at a time so that when you had managed to master 3 tables in a row which where actually getting longer they would then be in a good position to transfer these skills to tracks away from home, i.e like the skills i wish i had this last weekend:eek:
Just a thought:)

I agree fragy, Ithink that some tables/doubles progresivley getting bigger would be a great idea and a rock garden would be great but finding rocks could be a problem
I also think that before we start building anything else we need to spend some time tarting up the north shore runs all the rain has washed away a lot of the dirt on the take offs and landins.I started on the 1st jump going down to the wall a couple of weeks ago.

fish said in another post that he knows a chap who owns a small quarry:D :D so we could build any type of rock features/gardens:yeah:
