Today me and my brother and his mate were at the Hill sessioning patio on the TTT trail and a group of about 6 or 7 motocross bikes went hurtleing across the transition for patio and down towards the tables. They were followed by two more bikes. They stopped and had a chat and then drove down to the road and headed back towards rasen along the road after a few going over the end table at the bottom of the 48.

I thought it would be best to let people know about this and remind everyone to keep an eye out for people or vehicles near blind spots in the trail because any three of us could've collided with one of the motocross bike things when on patio or somewhere else on a trail.

And alsoo Fish is there a rule agianst bikes with engines being in the woods and is there a need to ring the police or let the Forestry know???

By the way the switchbacks you've raked Fish are fun :) :p

We are surposed to call the cops if any MX bikes or any un-permitted vehicles are in the woods, never mind on our trails! The forestry have no tollerance on this rule and do not allow crossers in!

I'm sure there would be a few heads rolling if some of the other members were around ;) We'll have to keep an eye out, can you remember what any of the bikes looked like? are the tyre treads still there....? all goes to identifying the bikes and taking them down ;)

Good work on posting this, will alert people in the future!

but baker how many times have you seen a blue honda or a green ktm? white and red are the most common colours for honda and ktm are the only mx bike things that come in orange

Some husqvarna's also come in orange, and most italian bikes will probabaly have a fair bit of white on them, so, i hate to admit it, but i agree with baker on this one ;)

Carrerabiker, a fair few actually, my dad used to have a green 950...

i don't care what bikes or colour they were the main detail is get their REG numbers make a note of it,even if you scratch it in the dirt etc then call the police explaining that the fc want us report ANY motorbikes in willingham woods the number to call is west parade police station 01522 882222 and ask for the market rasen desk also ask for and make a note of the crime number they give you ;) lets get the scum bags caught

Such an old problem.. i can't count the amount of times i've yelled at them in the past. They go up and down my drive alot too, very irritating.

Luckily they almost always scare off fast with a few harsh words.

west parade police station 01522 882222

Can't imadgine them doing much, biggest bunch of lazy w**kers i've ever come across, only in it to get the easy numbers instead of catching real criminals.

Get assulted in the middle of lincoln with CCTV and dozens of witnesses, they tell me they know exactly who it is and don't even arrest him.

Coxys bike got stolen, we found out who had it, where he lived, who he got it through ETC, police don't even look into it.

I ride my bike on a f*cking pavement and get a £30 fine!

All of them are bad things on the police's part however you cant criticise about the fine... there are times when you can get caught and all that and have to pay the consequences. Its hard to say anything about the bikes being stolen and you getting assaulted and nothing coming of it, but if you keep slating their work then they will pay less attention to you, especially if you were to talk back to them, not saying you would but all things tie together..........

I guess we can only try calling them and see what happens

(to make sure we dont have any conflict again none of the above was against your points at all, i hope you read it in that way ;))

the point of calling the police is 1st they might come out  2nd all crimes are logged and given a number this then forms part of the statistics on police performance.......so..the more reports they get the more "unsolved" crime there is which looks well bad for the local superintendant who hopefully will eventually do something about it ;)
