OK, this was discussed at the Committee meeting the day before the last race and I took responsibility for sorting it out.
So as we have the regulars who have their fair share in building and trail maintenance we feel it is time to make this an official branch of the club so this will be called â??The Trail Maintenance Team"
So the plan is for each person to have their own ''patch'' if you like of a trail on the hill and each month this area should be looked after e.g. raked. There will be small area assigned to each person and to start with it will be one each for the younger members only, then we will find out what is left and people can put their names in for which they would like.
This does not entitle you to be able to build whatever you like in your area, just look after it, this is a fixed rule which has been in the club since the beginning, however if you do have realistic ideas then there is nothing stopping you going to the committee with a request.
So the areas up for grabs are;
Old School
Entrance to all tracks â?? first berm after chutes = James Baker
First berm â?? end of second, long berm
End of second long berm - roots after double
Roots after double â?? final double
The 48
Entrance to track (where it branches from the old school) - start of mini bringewood section (start of woops/small jumps)
Start of mini bringewood - double after off camber
Double after off camber â?? end of trail (transition of second table)
TTT
Start of trail â?? first rock section = Rob cook
First rock section â?? small 2 log drop = Harry Gillman
Small 2 log drop â?? right hand corner after patio
Right hand corner â?? hip jump after loco
Hip jump â?? end of track
So take your pick and lets see who goes where :D
