ben knows all about riding here in the rain ;/
fact so do i... well the poor mech on my yeti did.
haha aaaah i remember that Si good days riding upto that point, those skinnies wernt the best in the wet haha
Where is the Downhill track nearby? There was a race there a year or 2 back, well one planned wasnt there?
opposite the road, goes out of the new car park
Really, ah, i thought it was at a different part of the forest, where was the place we went when dalby was closed for rally rick?

That was Keldy a couple of miles down the road
Hmmm na that dont ring a bell, the one where we got a bit lost/going down tracks that lead to nowhere...... did it begin with a W or somethin?
where the race was is a place called whycombe forest, or spelt something like that. Been there a couple of times not raced though.
yeah thats the place! we went there second rick ;) couldnt find a downhill track any where though, went all over!!!

theres the dalby downhill.. i think still unfinished. thats a fair way past dixons hollow.
Wykham.. thatll be the place with a nice bit of pallet shore :/ the downhill finishes in the car park.
Dixons Hollow is a good laugh for an hour or two, the shore that runs alongside the road is great fun backwards and i can imagine how dodgy those skinnys become in the wet!
Dalby DH is at the opposite end of the woods to the bike park, it's very short and has recently had a bit of work done on it.
As far as i know they have opened it up now, some pics can be found here: http://singletraction.frankencrank.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1540
As for wykeham, it used to be a cracking track apart from the uphill finish!
Unfortunately it fell victim to enduro bikes and very clueless builders, the FC stepped in and put an end to that and then they had land owner disputes which is why the races stopped(held by the bike outlet in york)
Theres some hidden tracks at wykeham too but i could never find them.
