After tuesdays site inspection with FC here's whats been agreed :cool:
so that's us busy for next year or so :devil:
Trail building proposal for 08
To summarise on the site meeting between the FC and Rasen area Trailblazerz (W. Grice & I Fisher) on 27.05.08
Beech tree side
New rocky trail section forking left near the start tower from the main ??Triple T? track and after approx. 50metres merging with ??the old skool trail?
New rollable step down jump and linking trail fork right near the top of ??old skool? and after 30m merge/rejoins ??old skool?
New rollable road gap style jump and linking trail forking left from ??Triple T? and crossing the ??48? trail and merging with ??old skool?
New switch back trail running parallel to the first 30m of the above trail and merging with ??48?
All the above trail forks and merges have good visibility etc and will have appropriate signs
Oak tree side
New duel racing track commencing at the start tower and proceeding down the left-hand side of the existing trails/north shore incorporating a series of two-lane berms and low level rollable jumps terminating at the base of the hill approx 100m short of the bottom lane/ride
Misc
The beginners XC. Trail has now only approx. 50m to complete a loop around the oak tree part of the site.
Installation of the Notice board at the trail head complying with Martin Ovasta??s request also new signage (FC national standard) will be ordered ASAP and installed through out the ??park?
At the request of W Grice (FC ranger) the ??scar face picnic area? will have its frame work/nails removed.
The club requests that the benches remain in place.
Tree felling
The club will contract ??James Kendall tree services? to fell and clear the agreed trees and submit appropriate certification as agreed at the site meeting on 27.05.08
