Sunday (October 5th-Postponed) November 2nd, December 14th & January 11th.
SAVE £5 by entering all 3 races now!

Owing to website problems and lack of notice, the October race has been re-scheduled to January 11th

I shall be downloading it shortly.
me + friends will show up for the bbq and to spectate I think, plus a bit of riding.
i'm playing rugby on October 5th and December 14th but i am looking forward to coming to the second one.
Im actually on holiday for the 5th of October but can make the others.

What trails will the races be on??
All the ones we have to offer.
Be the usual format, track to be raced will be known by the committee, taped on the saturday and open for practise saturday and sunday morning.
There is talk of possibly tweeking some of the sections so the race line will be mega with some nice ''different'' lines in them possibly ;).

OK guys and gals only 6 days to the 1st race in the 2008 winter series thats this coming Sunday for all you people who get a little confused with dates,or for all you people that have never had a date,ROB, with a girl.:)
So come on lets have some definite numbers so we can get things organised me and mr fish will be up saturday to start track prep so if you are available we would appreciate some help.

Yes will be doing this one, so will Martyn, Rich Batey and Heathy.
Will try to get up on Saturday as well.
Me and Dad will be coming for sure,
Also emailed Duncan who said he will come along and possibly bring along some others from his area too so be 2 or 3 maybe more from there hopefully!

come on guys wheres all the local club members its going to be a nice weekend,sunshine and cold all good for riding :)All new race lines the best track yet its going to take some beating,for the Dec race,but Im sure we can match it
yes come on, the track was well drained the other night even after all the rain and sleet, the wind today and through the night will make it perfect!
Checked the trails out today - Saturday. The race track seems to be rolling really well. All the boys riding cleared all the doubles very smoothly and the altered step-up onto the first tabletop's working really well. Looking forward to racing tomorrow.
sorry i just missed you ken, the track seemed in pretty good shape altho by the time me & fragy left parts of it were starting whip up into a nice creamy coating :D
Track was really good today, was a pleasure to ride, looking forward to the morning, see you all there.

After what can only be described as "the worst pre-race conditions you can get" on the saturday night, i was totally suprised at the number of enthusiastic entrants :D
after a short period of practice it was decided the "48" would be the track as it wasn't cutting up too bad ;) a testement to the trail builders ;) .of course in practice it "fluffed up" and an inch layer of creamy mud was present start to finish which caused some very shady moments but no casulties.;)
the track produced some very close race times with the usual suspects taking the honours:rolleyes: (complete times etc to follow)
despite the weather it turned out to be a fantastic day which was well attended raising a good amount for the club funds,so thanks everyone for making the effort, i'd especially like to thank the following folk,the Cooks,the Bakers, the Browns,and Mrs Fish,Rick Scott,superstar components,fatality bmx,elsfal cycles :D

Sorry Fish, I didnt realise there was going to be a clash with Hamsterley and with Zumbi attending, so must I.
There will be spares availible for the next race (DEC 14th) due to the amount of mechanicals in the last race! :P inner tubes etc

Last round this Sunday :D the track is looking good (dry...ish)and the forecast is also looking good plus the usual excellent BBQ and raffle :D
what crackin day :D shame it thawed :( still half the track was dry :D however the top section made it anybodies race :D and made for top entertainment for the baying crowd :devil: as well as producing some close racing.
Special thanks go to.....time keepers Ed & Gill Cook, Chefs Mandy & Alison,Rick Brown for setting up, Steve Hardcastle & the blonde haired kid;) for stepping up as start miesters as well as all the track builders and thanks to everyone for coming and supporting the event.....one of the best :D

if you had come over the other side of the hill on sunday you could have seen where the finishing ine was aswell ;)
