okay, so its late at night and im very bored, so this may well be an entirely pointless thread but then again maybe not.

this is something i think about a fair bit (sad ya) but anyway. hopefully ill have a new job soon and thus a nice steady flow of money again.

so im wondering whether to stick with my hardcore hardtailin (with nice shiny new forks ect) or to go full sus? what u all think?:?

think about what kind of riding you like / do the most, dont think anyone else can make that decision for you;)

else i would suggest getting a shopper :/

When i had rode my cannondale, i had a go on a mates full susser. it felt so much faster off road. the next week i got me a full susser and have never looked back (damn that was 7 years ago). Only downside i found is that they can be hard work around town, but once it gets moving its cool.

well jack its all up to you, you know how a few differnt full sus bikes feel and you know how a hardtail feels. If you just want to ride around rasen then stick with a hardtail, but think how nice a full sus bike would be at places like caresws......

i should think streets is ok on a full sus if not better, but theres always bikes for purposes so you may aswell have variety.

yea, actually you do! not long ago glen coe was ripping up dirt jumps on an orange 222 flipping it and everything.......

besides... iv come to a decision, its freeride and downhill where my ridings at. so my wages from my new job are getting saved and i think it'll be going into the pockets of these nice people................

go full sus its the way forward. you already have the forks which inhibit your steering you might as well get the benefactor (rear shock) which counter acts the lack of agile steering that would be used for street and dj's

speaking of dirtjumping, i was actually riding my chase Jr T's and all on dirt jumps the other week, bit odd to get used to, but when i did, it turned out theyre lifesavers for sketchy landings.

i was wondering..... if simons listening? is your univega still for sale?

na not really, i think i could get a bmx or a 24" to hit the trails and if i really want to do a bit of xc "the dirtbag can climb steep trails like a mounain goat"
