First off Hello all,
Well im Jono from Louth im 25 an heres a bit about me,
I first got into bikeing when i was at school, before i could drive its the only way of getting from A to B an seeing most of my mates lived out of town I got a road bike which was the quickest means of transport i could afford i joined a Louth Road race club an got some miles in with that until the club closed down 3 years or so ish an to be honest i was loseing interest in bobbing up an down on the road,
about a year ago i got a cheap mountain bike so i could knacker my dog out around some green lanes(ive done 20 or so miles with her an she'd still be happy to sprint after a rabbit like shes just stepped out) as it was safer for me an her to be runnin about off road, didnt take long before i got back into bikeing again and wanted somthing a bit better,
strapped for cash i was struggling to afford a decent full sus bike however my old man told me about some one selling a bike one afternoon, with that i was up to his house that afternoon an got myself a Giant nrs with all the right bits on it for 300 quid!!! which im well happy with, so i got into xc riding
I joined a local group of Riders who ride under the name Louth Area Mountain Bikers, firstly to show me some new trails however i found them all to be spot on an a lot more socal than i imagined an if any one ever fancys getting a few miles in i'd highly recommend comming along, other than slogging accross lincolnshire i've been out to sherwood pines an Dalby Forrest an wouldnt mind trying some more trail centers as time goes,
i've joined up here to ask if there are certain times-days/nights when you ride up at HH as i wouldnt mind having a look around some time, personally i recon some of your 8ft drops an the like are beond me but i wouldnt mind having a go at some of the Berms/north shore an just see what its all about some time,
Cheers all !
oh an when i say xc not in a lycra way :)
