hi folks just thought i`d login and say hello.
the Vallnord free ride area is awesome all new gondola taking you up 2600 metres!!!! three new trails built by Cedric and his mate Osca who was my guide for a while the trails were taking between 20-30 mins at a good pace :devil: altho it was nearly all over on the first run after a big crash my chain got well and truely wedged behind the cassette and broke a couple of spokes had to strip back wheel out,in all my kit the temp was/is 30c still better than rain etc.

ps.. keep an eye out for some 267mm straight pull spokes.

i meant to do this ages ago,anyway this gives you an idea of how much descent there is,this is about three quarters of the way up and first time up made me feel a bit anxious :wooot: :wooot:

How long does it take to get there? I would really like to go, we would be driving i think if we did go some time in the future.

It took use about 22 hours in a bus, so i guessing about about 15-18 in a car (depending on what car you have and how you drive it.) Or by plane i guess 4-8 hours.

we flew into Beiritz in the atlantic north picked up a hire car and drove down through to Perpignon in the Med south and flew back from there. you can get cheap flights to Barcalona thats about 2 hrs drive away :D
