YEA thats right newd 6 will be hitting the shelves soon.
im a big fan of the series so far and judging by the trailer theres more of the good stuff to come :filthy:

I'm about to put and order in to CRC and Nwd 6 is on it but it's 20 quid and i was wondering where you can get it cheaper.
Have you checked www.play.com you can't preorder but when it comes out you will probably be able to under cut CRC, you usually can for DVDs.
WOW yet another nwd. I havent even seen 1 2 3 4 or 5 yet!!!! i will have to look around for some cheep coppies
Yup i have, But they cut back on all the mtb DVD's there were selling they had anti gravity 2 advertised and nwd6 advertised but they aren't selling them anymore:(

£20 is taking the pi55 to be fair. plus its been kicking around since before christmas on the web.

. nwd6 is on there along with the Kranked series and loads of other good bike vids and clips. its not right but like jay said, 20 quid is alot of money for a mountain bike vid to say you can get a new release film for about 14.

Think about it, how many copies does a movie sell compared to a biking flick?
probably 99.9% more, so they can afford to be cheaper.
If everyone copied/downloaded the films there would be no reason to buy them leading to no reason to make them, meaning youre basicaly cutting your nose off to spite your face ;)
Making a film is damned hard, and takes hours and hours of filming before any time is spent editing it. (fe i have hours of solid biking from the hill, yet i only consider probably 10 minutes of that to be any good).
Buy it, save for it (you'll apreciate it more that way)... support the film makers or there will be no films made.
I never considered downloading it and i never would consider it. I've order it from CRC along with my helemt and gloves so i should have it tomorow.:D
evey bike vid i've thought worth the money i've bought and will probably buy nwd6 when it finaly hits the shelves as its a good quality vid. wouldnt be shelling out the £££ for it if i hadnt seen it before hand.
I'll try not to get the only copy left in halfords then if i get it before you like i did with earthed 3 lol!!!
I would personally support a british made film with british riders more than an american film. I would buy that. but i dont have a problem with borrowing a downloaded copy of nwd6 from a mate. didnt say i do it myself now did i.
but i do download ameature clips put on by riders for sharing. its a great way of getting your trail seen.

Yeh true I think the earthed series are awesome. But I've got Nwd 5 and thats awesome, but lots of places are saying Nwd 6 is the best freeride film to date so it should be worth its price
It probably is the best. its got some great riders in good settings and good soundtracks. plus if you do buy it then you have it there to watch whenever you like. and you will want to watch it again.
i personaly dont think its quite as good as nwd5 or the latest cranked - as far as the riding goes.
anyone wanting to support british films - SPRUNG. best series of vids ever IMHO
sprung 3,4,5 are all amazing. cant comment on earthed 3 as BAKER pinched the last copy!!! ((GIT)) but prefer them to earthed 1 & 2

i havn't seen many brit movies outside of the earthed series. but i'm not such a great fan of them to be honest. i watched some of earthed 3 with ben the other week though and i thought that was alot better than the previous two.
has anyone seen statement? its a thor wixom i thought that was good.
and as far as paying £20 for a bike movie goes, i really dont mind doing it. its the going price so thats whats gotta be paid.

I think post choking must be deleting bits of someones post because you dont like what it says. True Saxon did it to me because i dont think he liked what i said about video downloads. Presume thats what it is anyway!
gotcha. watched kranked 3 this morning. worth a look although not necessarily worth buying.
havnt seen any of the Kranked series yet. i heard they aren't that good so havnt bothered. i quite fancy getting the Retrospective box set, all about the past 4 years of the Red Bull rampage. It amazes me what they do there! Gotta have big balls to do a 40 foot huck. Maybe one day.
