After a bit of thought :hombre: i've come to the conclusion that the take off is a bit sevre,as it is, it will exclude to many people from trying it out :hmm: so i reckon we should just mellow out the take off by filling in the base a little, thus making the take off a bit longer :D ................what da ay reckon ;)

i think its great as it is, partly because its a bit different to all the other jumps we have, therefore people will be trying something new. The steepness is a good thing imho, as it feels like a jump instead of a drop

Ye, even though it looks steep it isn't actually that bad.
Once people have done it once they will find out how smooth it rides.

the take off is gonna need a bit of armouring anyway as it is it ain't gonna be long before theres a big divot full of water just in front of it where your front wheel slams into the ramp,i'm only talking about a subtle change and off coarse the landing needs a lot more dirt yet. :D

Tom

Ok. Also winter is closing in and it is not going to be dry for long.

mr fish

so all it took was one barrow full of dirt to make the take off feel much smoother  and a few more on the landing just made it all look a bit more finished and i managed to clear it :fu: which was nice.
however there's still a tendancie to over rotate and come into the landing very front end first....ok if you hit the tranny :D a bit sketch if ya over shoot(what da ya reckon Ben :D) or indeed like myself hit the table part of the landing :\ any way it reminded me of them birds that fly head first straight into the sea to catch fish
"Stuka" i think you call them, oh and of coarse the imfamous dive bomber of ww2 has the same name.what do ya reckon?
thanks again to cortina mike for his help :thumb:

yeah sounds good, stuka, this is where we need chainsaw man to get a fresh log and carve a diving bird into it right next to the jump, should look pretty cool do ya reckon?
