an uplift that was on the brink of being called off at one point due to super heavy down poors turn out (imho) to be one of the best
Sunday morning started out with the heaviest rain ive seen for ages, really signifying autumn weather, dampening the riding atmosphere it has to be said, taking shelter under the blue base camp. This rain persisted for about 2-3 hours, once stopping creating a mass of bog and puddles. After a word with Ian Jones (land owner) Mr Fish got the ball rolling calling for the uplift to start at 10, Most people managed the first uplift trying the balance in the trailer was a task in its self :p
For those who have been to caersws you will no doubt be familiar with the super rooty section at the top, this was now to be a running stream in which you planted your front trye released the brakes and went with the flow :\ sketchy at some points, but non the less all really good fun :thumb: the rest of the course got surprisingly grippy by the end of the day, with the exception of the lower third which had many people studying root formations in the lying down position, Mr Fish was that keen infact he couldnt resist but to dive in head first :D
All in all a pheniminal day greatly enjoyed
