Yes folks, its that time of year again. Days when its too wet or too miserable to ride will be a plenty over the comming months.

I hope you've been giving some thought as to what you want to see on the hill.

I will (hopefully) marking out a new descent (other side of hill) over the next few weeks, and i know mr fish has a few plans too.

The good weather seams to have flown by fast as  , guess its due to enjoying what's been built in the last "digging season".

Now is the time for us to invest in our fun for next year :)

Remember, digging is only permitted by club members on designated building days (most sundays if last years trend continues)

So grab your spades/mattocks/wheel barrows/saws and hammers, dust off the waterproofs (if they aren't already)
and lets get busy.

We have had nothing but praise and positive feedback for our work so far, so lets keep it up.

I think we should make one of those gap jumps made of wood like in the shore tour in this months MBUK. How about you lot?

I dont read mbuk, so havent seen the gap youre talking about. However, the word gap sets alarm bells ringing.
We are not permitted to build gap jumps. Everything has to be rollable.
Besides we have some big jumps on the Tresspass trail.
Trouble with big jumps is that you need a lot of speed and distance between (to get setup) and heck youre already at the bottom of the hill;)

A series of tabletops might be woth consideration though.
