whilst out of action up the woods today Ken B and I got talking about the recent susstantial grant that was given by the kind people of comic relief when Ken suggested the idea of a storage unit of somekind to be placed and sucured up the woods, i've seen some units dotted around the woods already with, what i presume is feed of some kind. Obviosly it would have to be very well held down and have a sufficient lock on it to stop light handed thieves, maybe a combination that is handed out to members of the trailblazerz. What may it contain i hear you ask :? , well a well stocked first aid kit for a start, a basic set of tools would be good and depending on how big maybe a place to store tools, and maybe a donation box ;)

as i said just a thaught, maybe the forestry comision have one spare :cool: , ive done a bit of research ;-

Very good idea ben! That would deffinatly be a good help and keep stuff safe from thevies etc. And it would deffinatly be good to keep a cupple of first aid boxes in them. I definatly think we should get one or two or maybe even 3 :devil: :devil:

Its a good idea couldn't you like set in a hole so only the top few inches stuck out. then it would be harder for vandals to do anything to it. n when you needed something, tools or first aid kit. undo the combi lock and reach down into the box.:? just an idea

One of these to form the base of the start tower, with steps up one side and the slope on the other...

It would be good if we could have one of those True saxon but is there any space for it and would the FC let us keep one of those massive things there ? :P

I think the one that ben pointed out would be the best idea we could could have 2 or 3 of them and put them in a feww diffrent places.

oooh one of those big beasts at the base of the roll down, wood on top with hand rails and a stair case at the back,.. oh and the most important thing would obviously be a camo paint job like the whistler wall ride

The big container would be quite a good idea, will hold everything needed + more and would be the most secure thing. Its just what the FC think really.

As mentioned today. How would you get it to the top of the hill. I think Mr Fish said something about using a metal box already in the woods.
Its not that big and if it had a padlock on it would be very secure.

ye i also think we should have a container of some sort up at the woods.we should have a little part for ben with lots of spare rear mek hangers. :) :thumb:

I like the one tru saxon said but the smallest one. that way there woultd be space to keep loads more stuff and it is shelter for if it rains
