snow ridings great fun, untill you fall off and get a shirt full of snow. muha
Yeh i thoght about that but hey that stuff happens. who is up for it.
I will be up for it it will be well good :P
Wont be having much speed i would of though though and the shores might be a bit slippery i would of though but still it will be good and funny!
:sabre: :sabre: dont count your chickens, i think some of these weather reports try to prepare you for the worst case event, if it does it'll more than likely be a slide fest, which, even so will be great fun :fu:
ye it will be fun! but it has to snow first
Yea it was ment to be snowing tomorrow achually but i dont think it will. It has been in the paper and on the weather but you all no what they are like
so guys, wheres this snow?? i think aswell, if it does snow, we should head on up into the wolds for some slalom style action
Well i woke up this moring started doing ma papers and it started snowing quite good here. But now its allllll gone.
i should think the conditions up the woods will be dreadfull because of the rain.:hmm: :hmm:

i went yesterday for a while,it was a slide fest:D
it will be good for trail development etc as well :bana:
There's a really broad, smooth, fairly shallow hill at the back of Gainsborough leisure centre that'd be brill for a bit of snow slalom. Me and James'll definitely be there if it snows cos we live at the bottom.
PS - BEWARE OF THE YELLOW SNOW!!!
and while I'm on the subject, anyone contemplating riding in the snow should make sure the temps been down below freezing for a couple of days to make sure the (now hidden) dogsh## is hard.
Has anyone else noticed how bad the first bit of track from the Tealby Road layby is getting. I actually got spattered last week while the dog owners were still there. No apologies or anything, they just ignored my moaning and cursing out loud.

Yeah, its becomming a bit of a slalom course down there lately.
\Hard to miss the stuff in the dark:grr:
They really should show a bit of respect and common desency and clear up after themselves, did you actually see the dog do the business, very well refrained if you did.
My mouth always seems to run away with me if i see it and the people ignore it and start to walk away....
:nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:
Back on topic....
Yesterday i went to the woods, there was 5 of us..... it was good...
haha.
slippery as, especially with bling blings .... tyres changed now
the conditions are exceptional for mid-dec with every thing looking dry including the timber and rolling fast :yeah: and no rain forcast in the next 48 hrs,
should be good :bana:
Bloody hell :wow: its that dry i saw dust comin off the wheels of si's curtis :yeah: cold tho :wooot:
Sound cool, literally! lol. Me and my dad 'll be up tomorrow.

wow totally excellent trail conditions on the flow show side, near perfect :D
It was awesome!!! Sooo fast and flowing it is really starting to feel like summer now!
...And then it rains, like now. We want sun shine!!!!
another good session today  nailed all the :bana: "Flow Show" for the first time in ages which was nice :yeah:
yeah was super fast today - almost time to break out th goggles, gettin abit dusty, eyes were streamin after a few runs down the jumps.
looks like its going to be super grippy. can crank down the start ramp, and keep cranking all the way around the 1st berm now! lookin forward to the summer!!

Most porbably the best riding conditions this year, roll on the summer :p
Hopefully the weather holds out for the weekend it has been a nice day today so it hopefully will.
Anyone been up today? It's been raining a bit in Sheffield today so wondering what the conditions will be like for tomorrow?
thanks :)
:( :( :( :( , its been raining on and off all day and we now have a blanket of snow/hale, riding conditions will be poor for the next few days the north shore inperticular :( and it was soo good during the week too
Its bin Ok but not as great as people were saying during the week. If it's sunny tomorow the shore should dry out but the bits in between the shore will be quite squelchy

Bollocks :(
I was well psyched too...

We were going to come over first thing - like leaving Sheff at 8am so I reckon it might be better to wait for nicer weather, unless it's like windy and dry all night or something.
Never mind, the trails will still be there for another day :)

All the trails have been rideable most of the winter, and i wouldnt describe the shore trail as squelchy in between the shore, the TTT is squelchy, but that adds to the fun.
The shore tends to dry out really quick with a small ammount of wind on it.
The sun is shinning atm here in Cleethorpes.
I would still come over, fun will be had i am shore (pun intended).
Well, we made the right choice and came over - conditions were a bit shitty first thing but dried out up until lunchtime when the heavens opened and we headed for home.
Great fun was had - I was only aiming to drop ForkTop this trip but managed to do the lot (bar the skinny) and all link it all in one go :) :)
The flow is awesome and I can safely say that it was some of the most fun I've had on 2 wheels.
Nice work people and I can't wait to get back again when it's fully dry.

Was up there today 11-2:30 whole place to myself :)
Flowshow is rolling really good now and was dusty, TTT s well on its way to drying out.
Another day like today and were laughing :)
i've been up today riding with Kenny B testing his new bike ;) trail conditions are mint :D and no rain forcast in the next couple of days it should be dusty by sunday :D  :D
lets hope for crisp dry trails this winter like we did last . There was some extremely good riding to be had during december/january last year lets hope for more this :D
YEAH today was ace. Blue sky, dry dirt and leaves fell gracefully from the trees when you hit em.
You seem to do alot of hitting trees dont you :D Great day friday!
BLOODY HELL IT'S NEARLY DRY :D i've up late afternoon today and its really rolling fast, there is still a big puddle in the first berm :( and the odd little puddle here and there but generally speaking its not far off perfect
awesome =)
i'll see if i can get up there sometime!

I'm off work sick at the moment so I might go tomorrow xpink might be ill too;) if you know what I mean:D
tuttut, against club rules rick:rolleyes:
We'll be up Thursday 3.30 ish I'll bring my sludge gulper and drain the top berm. It might still get rained on for a bit yet, but it'll help with the gradual drying out.
Should be a good day tomorrow, doss lessons all day and to finish it off my first evening ride of the season :D:D:D See y'all there!
I can't believe how much the trails have dried out this week - it's brill. James and I even managed to pedal round the bottom of TTT and jump off LOCO. Which reminds me - Patio's cooler than ever now with an extra 6" height and the take-off lip set back a bit. Good Air (unlike my head)
The grip on the wall ride is incredible. My sus. set-up is a bit iffy (because I've been fiddling with it - Plonker!) and I'm getting too much rear wheel bounce. Anyway, with Tresspass nice and dry and the base of the wall firm all round I launched myself at it with gusto only to find myself somewhere near the top, pointing straight up with both feet off the pedalsand my bum in the air. To avoid the near vertical launch over the top I immediately turned right, which put me back on track quite nicely, but unexpectedly, I found myself with virtually ZERO lean angle ( I guess this was the gyroscopic effect working) with my left foot planted on the wall!!!! AND I DIDN'T SLIP - I couldn't believe it. However, I did panic a bit and scuttled straight down the wall at an alarming rate, coming to a halt in the pile of dead tree cuttings. No harm done and newly found confidence in the grip available on the woodwork.
James was laughing quite a lot for some reason.
anybody up the hill tomorrow?
