Benders back breaking bail

As found on nsmb.com freeride pioneer Josh Bender bailed out at the last second on november the 14th atempting a 35ft drop with a gap, Bender compressed the L2 vertibre lower down the spine and is having treatment this weekend to fuse it back together, not only that but a broken ankle.

I have seen some other pics of this, on all of them it looks much more than 35foot... crazy b.
word is that the landing wasnt long or steep enough...
