Well wheel base is now open and it is looking real good :D It looks like it is a cheep place to ride too. I think it is a good place to get some great winter riding in. It has actually bin open since 19th November but no one has mentioned it so i thought i would. Take a look at this and tell us what you think> http://www.dirtsociety.com/ :thumb:

Any one fancy going to Sheffield Indoor tomorrow afternoon, for an evening session?
Can possibly provide a lift (to/from an agreed location).
I am awaiting confirmation of opening times, but plan to be leaving around 3ish (should give plenty of time to find the place.
Wednesday afternoons i am free, have some money together too, if you can possibly provide a lift! for me and a 20" push rod (BMX) it would be much appreciated

Sure ben,
can you make it to the place i picked you up before? or do i need to come into rasen?
It opens at 5:30-9.00 and is £10 membership and £6 for the session.
Best i wash my bike tomorrow eh.
3.00 at the pick up point Wednesday, super see you then!
may be there a bit earlier will text if there is any problems :thumb:
head towards the ski village just as you turn off the main road its on your right.
Ermm, don't head towards the ski village cos it aint that way (I think u may be thinking of the indoor sk8 park).
Basically go to Wincobank, but instead of turning left into the carpark there carry on down the road until the traffic lights at the end (2 miles - Ecclesfield).
Turn right here and then almost imediately right again at the next lights (before the Morrissons and opposite the MG dealers (if it is still 1) down Station road. This makes the Morrissons on your left once you have turned onto Station road. Go down station road and just after you go under the railway brige you need to turn left into what looks like a companies car park. Don't panic here go through the gates but after the weigh bridge you need to bear right and go past the front of the building and then follow the road down the righthand side of the building. Half way down it, it sort of dog legs and Wheelbase is in another unit on the right across a small bridge.
Basically pass winco, right, right and left into yard.
If u get stuck give me a bell 07990826077 :thumb: (I work 1-1/2 mile from winco and finish at 4:30 so could help u out if needed - not gonna ride though cos the racelink isn't conducive to bmx tracks).

OK, sit down if your about to read this reply, me and sime took the trip to wheelbase today, and how cool did it turn out to be, absolutly fantastic defo going again. the best part is tough about an hour into the evening who turns up.... STEVE PEAT!!! i was terminoly star struck when he walked up to the start ramp and said hello to me, i cant remeber if i replied or not! the best bit is though i plucked up the courage to have a conversation with him mentioning the hill and what weve been up to aswell as showing him the website address COOOL! after talkng a bit about his santa cruz and how to make this double i was struggling with i went down the start gate, little did i know steve was following me and by the first corner Sime says i cut him up then he passed me and left me standing, THE BEST nights riding i have ever had and will ever have, and the better thing is i have a Santa cruz chameloen frame on its way £130!!
as luck would have it, altho the red arrow's are busy tommorow the "Lanacster bomber " is free to fly the Hildred ego around for the day :D :D :D well done Ben for being "Club Ambassador" i bet your well chuffed mate :D
chuffed isnt the word! it really was the best riding sesh ever! THANKYOU very much sime for taking me i know you were pleased you went!

Yups, and plan on going fairly regular too. Just a shame about your jumper ;)
But it was a really good night, and i dont ache half as much now as when i went to bed last night:)
God i have to go. Peaty seams a nice guy. Did you mention anything about any opening day thing to see if he would come cos fish was sayin about getting some pro in on that. Put the next time you are going on here and i'll try to persuade my mum to let me and my dad come.
Any body wanting to go better hurry as it closes on thursady until next winter!
oh that sucks i really wanted to go ride that place but i've just bin swamped down with injuries:(
Bluming heck it doesn't stay open long! i wish i could but i can't get out of school- exams!!! and my dad is at work.
