I was just interested to know, if money was no option, what bike would people buy? (that counts out the honda g-cross cos u can't buy it).
I think for me it was toss up between the usual: Intense M3, Santa Cruz V10, Brooklyn Machine Works Race Link, Kona Stab Supreme, Foes 2.1 DHS mono, GT iT1 etc.
So for me its a company that I've been a fan off ever since i first started getting interested in downhill and freeride. I like that there, for me anyway seems to be a certain exclusiveness to them. And i think they build some of the best dh bikes in the world. I was a huge fan of the DH9 and it is my dream one day to own one.
So my vote goes to the 'Yeti 303'

well, hands down the best imho is the iron horse sunday (as if you didnt see that coming :p )
look up awsomenus in the dictionary and it'll be there
dave weagle DW linkage with its superior 'anti squat' suspension design, 'kooky' lime green colour, a pair of fox dh40 rc's slapped on the front and a dhx 5.0 on the rear with sram X.0 groupy throughout along with a generous pasting of Funn components and the new FSA gravity crankset mmmmmm now all i need is an Australian acsent

The 303 is luuuurvly, i just wonder how well the sliding pivot will stand up to uk mud, looks expensive to replace.
my vote, as ever is with this (http://www.canfieldbrothers.com/Formula%20One%20Page.html)
:jiz:
maybe someday soon
my vote would go to a nice custom build:
brooklyn machine works FQ-mini
http://www.brooklynmachineworks.com/bikes_FQ.htm
profile cranks, 24" wheels, and some long travel single crown forks.:) mmm gravy:D
I have never really noticed it before but i found that i absoloutly love the Norco team DH dont know why. I also like most bikes with more than 10" travell they are soo kool

Mine would have to be THIS (http://www.brooklynmachineworks.com/bikes_DH.htm) also...
9? travel with Avalanche DHS... mmmmmmm:devil:
aweeesooomeee. that purgatorybikes sloppy joe looks bitchin. want one lol
My dream has come true kinda. I have always liked the dabomb Mindbomb and i now have the frame it has 9" travel. Wicked imho
The other day, I swapped rear shocks on my Saracen Havoc (with Boxxer & hope front end) For a while it was sat on its wheels, squashed down with no shock. It looked like some kind of custom easy rider, speedway bike. A 24 inch back wheel would have added to the effect. So basically, this is the kind of style I want- A LOW SLUNG DUDE BIKE ( no bar end tassles though )

That frame is nuts pretty nice though. The sloppy i think i saw was black too. it looks soo much better in black although yellow does make it stand out more. I thought the swingarm looks kinga week though it probably isn't it looks quite thin and spindely.
The Dark Cycles Scarab i love this frame!!!
this is my kind of thing...... i really like sc forks on full suspension bikes!
You might call this "dream bike on a budget" but it's starting to look pretty cool:
Ben's old MF Drift in deep deep satin black.
Fish's old Boxxers in Satin black
Fish's oldHope 4-pot front brakes
Amoeba bars and stem - black
Shimano gears - black
Dorrado ring and cranks - black
MRC chain guide - yes you guessed - BLACK
Should be on the hill this week but you might need a torch to see it.
We need to see some pics. Make sure you use the flash so we can see this blacker than black beast.
If the bike's not on the hill this weekend, I'll bring some photo's
PS I forgot to mention the black pedals, headset and REAL carbon fibre (mostly black) head set spacers!
what about wheelset....black?
There a few devinci bikes about that look awsome. :p :D :filthy:

I'll answer Jay's question for my dad, the wheel set is gray and black. Front grayish silver and the back, black. Still it is very black.
Kens New Bike
ARGH!! The frustration The wrong sized BB was my fault, but now My brand new Hayes HFX 9 rear brake has arrived NOT WORKING!!!!!! - more delays
I liked Bens new SRAM gears so much that when the Shimano's I wanted weren't available in black I went for the SRAM X7 ( not really comparable to the X0 but look similar and Black)
ah the frustration of building up a new frame, i remember it well. its well worth the wait though. sounds stealth though, have you got any digital pics?
Pics this week some time.
