Went to chicksands earlier this week, what a place, the amount of things to do is never ending, a days riding and there were still north shore lines and single track descents we didnt have time to do, (mainly because 99.9% of the time i was being anti sociable riding the big set of dirt jumps often seen in mags riden by Glen Coe.) Although when chicksands is mentioned your imediate thaught is there endless supply of north shore it really wasnt the highlight of the riding and infact got quite boring after a while as there was a set speed to ride it meaning you coudnt go faster with confidence eliminating the 'fun' factor imho. The real plus point of Chicksands is its dual track with start gate and awsome dirt jumps, (a small 8 pack with 4'+ gaps and 4' high take offs and super steep landings and a huge set with take off vertical and taller than me with 6' gaps and hip lines all over the shop) A highly recomernded day out well worth a visit!

Ah the duel track, the real reason we trip down there !! That is an outstanding contribution to the area and one that gets sessioned until you puke.

The shore does ride slower than the trails you have but promotes more technical riding and stall control.

I really like the look of Chicksands. Not too sure about the dirt jumps but the shore looks awsome. How long does it take to get there? Weren't you meant to be at school ben?

Wheel base, the indoor place. I've had other plans when the previous trips have been so its a bit of a bummer but I'd love to go some time.
