hopefully we should have had a large shipment of timber delivered this weekend and we've got some 4x4 assistance(cheers Steve and Mark) so if you we're thinking of popping over on Sunday then please do as the help will make a light job getting it to the top :D

Ok. I think we are trying to come earlier than usual so that way we can do building and quite a bit of riding too.

i apoligise for the no show, bet it was a fantastic day up there, the weather looks great, still not feeling 100% thaught it best not to risk going up, what was done? i guess a lot of riding in the sunshine!

Baker
05-03-06, 22:47
There was a nice neat pile of timber assembled and yeah quite a lot of riding. It dried out quite a bit but was still slick in some areas.

In the morning it was horrible, i was filty muddy within 5 minutes of riding. But it dried out very fast and got better although in most places it was still super slippy which was good for Fish as he was in a sliding mood.

will be a northshore building day :D however there are some rule changes, you must pre-book and sign in on arrival and sign out when either your leaving or when work ceases, you also must bring a hard hat, work gloves and boots with you as any construction on site now comes under the health and safety at work act, however ground level dirt works and trail maintenance do not ;) and finally you must be a club member ;) so who wants to be part of the next northshore phase (start tower/crater to ft2) sign up

mr fish

AJ Embroidery in Louth (on the industrial estate - tel 01507 601021) will do a deal on workwear for members. Short peak hard hats for £3 plus VAT, workboots from £16-30 depending on makes (no VAT on workboots) and workgloves from around £3-16 plus VAT.

Hope this helps someone!

So if you need a hat

2 metre 10 i think, so about 8.25' i guess the location is spot on and an awsome feature to keep you on your toes at the start of the trail :)

Baker
20-03-06, 18:39
Yeah it looks great! Will it have a nice swooping dirt tranny?

mr fish
20-03-06, 18:44

ben
at the mo it drops on to the side of the shallowcrator/bombhole and is 7&half ft  or 15ft to some peoples minds;) its going to have a roll down as its exposed to public scutiny being next to the fire road however i'm not sure rolling it would the safest way

mr fish
24-03-06, 23:24
i know its mothers day and all that, however the new feature needs finishing so if ya can bring ya hard hat, gloves, boots etc(from now on the HSE term PPE will be used, personal protection equipment).
i'm hoping to arrange a lift for the rest of the timber on saturday ;)
see ya sunday.......Mr Fish
