for looks BMW for certain.
Otherwise, for that kinda cash i would be wanting to ride them all before making the decision
My choice isnt listed;)
but you know what that is anyway:fu:
Well if you mean a canfield sime, i would have a brooklyn, simply to make everyone jaw hit the floor every time i go up the woods, but for 'ridabilty' i would test a demo, demo 9/8 as they are the bees Knees of rideable bikes............. in my opinion
but then again i've just seen a stab primo with wc boxxers etc etc immac £1750mmmmmmm just need that compo cheque now :grml:
oooh nice worldcup boxxers too! mmmmmm see if you can test ride it. Just to state the obvious this is, off course my dream and ideal frame http://www.bikes.com/bikes/2005/special_edition/canuck.aspx
last years kona stinky primos are selling for £1600 ........worth considering
Is that you Dave?........ WOW £1600 where from?
reply, could it be anyone else :P
yes its in the new wot mtb seriously considering it.......tho would prefer to buy from rasen bikes.

Mr Fish cant decide:

at £1600 the primo is definately worth a look, but a bmw................ i can see why u cant make your mind up!
Go for either the brooklyn or the santa cruz V10. ;)

Stab Primo for 1600 quid, i would be on the phone asap!!
race proven, race ready with a proven design (how many design changes has the stab had since its existance?) exceptwhen they tried curved tubes.
I posted this before somewhere, but the demo's are new and may have a few teething problems which will be resolved on future models and the shock arangement looks like a possible mud trap. and i still dont see why having 2 rear ends (single pivot with linkage around) works or benefits anything. the wheel path is fixed by the single pivot¿?¿?¿
i have reservations on the mud clearance on the canfield too (but i would still have one)
i still suggest trying to blag a go on any that you see, and see what you like
like ben said, the BMW will turn heads, as will the canfield. but i seen a few bmw's around and am still waiting to see my first canfield;)
but i like uncommon things;) hence my hating of big hits!

hmm, just noticed that after i merged this thread with the poll, the treads messed up a bit :/
also mis-read, its a stinky for1600 not a stab, 4get my last comments:hmm:
wow according to the polls the V10 has no votes! either do the konas, ooh yeah i did the 'other' vote, Rocky mountain RMX carnut ( see earlier thread for a pic)
well, i have a stinky primo in the garden now, hurrah , but its slightly worrying how people have started rating people negatively so much........seeing as this is basically a small thing atm and we all know each other couldnt we just try to remove the ratings before things get out of hand ? just an opinion
here here, its just a bit of fun but i dont see why theres any nececity, besides everyones looks the same, how does it work?
i would be cautious about buying any bike that isnt a major manufacturer. if you get any problems with it you may struggle to get parts, even someone who knows anything about them. my choice would be the Demo 8/9. if there were going to be any teething problems i think steve rominuik would have spotted them by now! they are still using the FSR desgin which is proven to work. the only downside in my eyes is weight and the shock getting covered!
