Not looked on here for a while so just got a few quick questions:

- How long do membership applications take to process?
- Can any member bring guests? If so, how many?
- Are the trails open all year round for members? i.ei. is it worth joining up now, or waiting 'til later in the year?

Thanks :)

as soon as we've got the signed form and your dosh ;)
you can bring one/two guests, altho clubs are welcome with prior permission anybody making more than a couple of visits will be expected to join up ;)
the "park" will be open all year round and 100% of all monies go to trail development ;) cheers Fish

Cheers Mr Fish,

I think that's a fair policy on guests - there's a couple of guys I know who'd be interested in taking a look before joining. I'm sure once they've seen it they'll happily cough up.
Doesn't apply to me coz I've already checked the place out so don't mind fronting up the fee.

Regarding your question about it being worth visiting all year - we've been up at the hill virtually every weekend through the winter and some weekday skiving!! There's always been something worth riding as long as you don't mind having to clean your bike when you get home.

Don't mind cleaning the bike, but slippy shore can be pretty hard work...

I have found, with the time i have been going, that the shore dries out really quickly after the rain, its just the mud at the bottom of all that takes the longest to dry out.

Especially with the temp getting up into double figures it only takes a day of no rain to dry the wood. the mud will get there. cant wait for the hard smooth summer trails.

Not all our trails are shore based either ;)

Yeah, keen to have a look at the TT trail.

I'll get my app form off later today - my mate is going to apply too on my recommendation :)
