At less than an hours drive, The Bakers are definitely interested. I'll have to check a few things out - work, wife etc. The course sounds a bit of a sprint after Hopton Castle.
sounds like a plan! possibly another local venue to visit too
Looks an awesome track! Sould be a good time to go- Birthday 4 days before more bike parts probably! Lets hope it works out it is only one day so mum shouldn't be a problem just work and maybe the time we are attacking Bill(fort)
Yeah count me in !!!!! I agree with Ben maybe another local track to visit :)
Looks like my dad is working but there is plenty of time for him to try to swap and it will only be the one day so might work out!
Yeh i should be up for it, lift depending. My dads a shift worker so he rarely gets the time off when i want to go anywhere.
Eh Baker, what do you mean "Mum shouldn't be a problem" That's my wife you're talking about, she's never a problem!!!
not that i can go on this particular occasion but for future reference, would someone please query this with a marshall while thyre there:
"- If wishing to overtake, a rider must shout rider to notify the slower rider"
does this mean that deaf people (im not sure yet if my processor fits in my helmet) cannot participate?
i wouldnt worry about it matey. you cant hear a great deal inside a full face helmet when rattling down the side of a mountain. crawford carrick-anderson's a very successfull scotish rider whos deaf, just take a look behind when possible sure no one will give you any problems!!
There is one solution, Go faster than everyone else!!

I dont think CCA rides anymore? not heard of him in a while. I think that was his moto too, ride so fast you dont need to worry about being overtaken.
Anyway, i'm possibly up for this race.
Anyone fancy goingup there on say Easter Sunday for the day? if its no good, dalby isnt that far, or carlton bank, or, or, or ;)
