I am looking at buying an xc lid because a full facer is too much for bezzing roundt streets with... any recommendations? i have never owned a non ful face helmet so havent a clue.
So far the giro xen looks pretty good, has a nice shape and doesnt look so gay like some.
Any other ideas?

I have a 661 dirtlid and that is awesome! I think they are about £25 or something from rasen bikes.

£15 on chain reaction for a 661 dirt lid!! bargain!! but it 03 model... can't see difference tho!! plus you can get pink which is pimp as!!!!
Yeah! I really recomend that lid! Really comfortable and looks good too!
If your wanting a light weight, well vented XC lid the 661 bravo XC is a great lid, with one of the easiest and most effective adjustable straps around ('turn-loc') , 24 large well placed vents, it has fully removable internals and visor and wieghs absolutly nothing! (11 oz) i am unsure of the warrenty but i am sure somesort of crash replacement/discount policy is in place with such a reputitable company. RRP £50, £45 for you ;) we have them in stock aswell, not to sure what sizes but ive tried them on and they fit great and unlike most helmets they dont seem to sit on the top of your head and stick out like a saw thumb, two of the bravos in stock have gone this week, both customers have reported back with great reviews
hope this helps ;)

im buying the bravo quite soon, it's the only xc lid i've ever tried on that doesnt just sit on top of your head.
looks good feels light and comfortable.
Si i have the xen and its really light and well vented but gives more protection to the back of the head than most other open lids, if you need to try i will bring mine to the hill if i ever get any free time again.
