who's up for some riding round the city on friday evening?
say bout 4:30 at the big lion in the arboretum?
the weather should be alright
Sorry mate i forgot my dad is at work and picking his car up so it is a definite no!! :-(
Today me, ben and tom went to lincoln. caught the train at 12. rode outside the university for a little bit. before moving on towards the skatepark and 4x track. ben was tearing it up, tom got called sh!tty boy because he wasn't trickin it up over a quarter pipe like ben, and even ben caught the eye of some photographer man who i think worked for the paper. the day ended on a bit of a down note, when someone came upto us saying eenie meenie miny mo i want that one and pointing at my bike. we made an exit after that and he followed us with a friend riding on the bars whilst trying to force us of our bikes. We got the train home shortly after laughing about it, but it was a rough estate and we saw some of the people had knives. Any way good days riding none the less

I've just been out, had a bit of a blast on the old quarry then headed into the arboretum. On the first run gap jumping the stairs i ripped a spoke out the rim, now i got to get that fixed tomorrow...bloody Stif cycles kak wheel builders:mad: :mad:

Westwick Gardens and the moorlands both back onto the skate park :rolleyes: its got its ellement of scum,safety in numbers etc,as they say three's a crowd,but realisticly you need to choose the riding time and who your with etc,shame your day ended on a bum note :( i think maybe i should make the effort next you lot come over from out of town :devil:
westwick gardens is the one. the guy who followed us back said you want go down wecky "its a shortcut" :rolleyes: we just went the way we came and left. still very good days riding. shame ben had a few problems with his chain tension or it would have been a real good day
It was a good day, one guy at the skatepark turns round to see his bike had gone, out comes a 3" knife perading it around looking for his bike... quite alarming! them he decides to cut the tyres off another bike laid down by the park! I had a photo shoot :p the guy who applied and got the funds to build the park was taking pictures to premote the ramp builders company, he said he'll email me a few :)

whos busy this friday night? anyone up for a session round lincoln? perhaps as a make up for all the lads who cant make caersws, or as a warm up for the lucky ones that are going;)

I might come along! Thinking of getting myself a camera to keep me where the ridin is! I will let you know! My birthday on wednsday so hopefully get myself one by friday n be hopin to have a go! Maybe meat you in the day idf it all works out ya mike n anyone else that could get there!?

Where you guys meeting and what time?
If your starting in the arboretum i might come down and meet a few new faces. Won't be riding though:(
I will try! get myself a camera by then! We might have to go into linc in mornin mike to get one lol! depends how it all works out!
i am thinking of getting the train in about 2ish and taking the 7ish back home, will anyone be around that early? what time you planning on finishing? not bothering with the full bouncer the stair gaps were fine on the cove so just bringing that instead

well the 2 o'clock train doesn't get to lincoln till 2:45. and the last train is 19:52.
Don't know really! Found myself a nice 7 million pixel camera so now all i need is for them to have it in stock and have the money ;)

will do! just quick dya know how to make camelbacks work? i filled the bladder and i bite the end bit and suck but hte water refuses to go into the tube theres no obstructions or anything but it wont go through

not the area you wanna "scout" around, the main roas fine but if you go down some of the smaller roads off monks road you can get some real schmit, i tend to anyway...

Have you got one with a lock off on the bite valve? It'll be a yellow lever. If its not that, take the bite valve off (should pull out of the tube) and make sure there is nothing blocking it up. Failing that, are you sure your sucking it and not blowing??;)

I got my camera so i should get there, dunno how yet like, 5 sounds a bit late to get the train back but i don't know how i am getting there yet cos my dad might be able to bring me... might not be able to make it even.
Me and Dan will be there at about 5 who else is comming
me! steve, was it your faith in cyclesport the otherday with some sort of weird welded pole in the seat tube?
just the three of us then? Yes it was mine just some minnor adjustments, the pole is to make it fit on the bike carrier

Not yet, bit too skint as i got to buy me some armour:devil: Will get one sorted tho, think i'll go with an E.13 from Rasen bikes.

that was a pretty good ride! didnt hurt myself until i was on the way home, i didnt think the usher slope was as steep as it is and my crotch met my rear wheel lol
glad to see noone else fell off though!
