we got there once but just as we got there we met loads of other riders who then took us to this DH track!

isnt the downhill track pretty poo? went a few years ago and imo wasnt nearly as good as our twisted tree tail. thats if its the same one. i think it was behind some college or something.

this is different one!! it pretty cool! got a double bowl at bottom that we were sessioning plus some big drops and jumps! theres a kicker called george off of this stupidly steep run that throws you about 15ft into a tyre squealing stop before a river, also a run involving a 6ft drop to steep slope into a nice kicker that one fella got at least 20ft out of (there were arguments about the distance but everyone agreed it was over 20ft, some rekoned it was nearer to 30 tho!!) and all runs end in the double bowl at the bottom after hitting some roadgaps, river gaps and twisty trails!! overall its a pretty decent set up but it does lack the polish of some places!!

my next days off work are fri 23rd, sun 25th, mon 26th and wed 28th!! i realise this was a bit of a late shout so check your calenders and if anyone fancy riding leeds on any of those dates i'll be there!! am suffering from withdrawal symptoms at mo from lack of riding!!

i forgot camera last time but next time i there will take some pics and post em!! it an alright set up but as i said before it lacks polish!! i think its because theres no official group looking after it, its just riders building stuff when and how they like! it needs someone to gather local riders into a proper council, and organise proper building days and a real plan of whats to be built!! Then it would really start to take off!

Perhaps Fish fancies another project?? or maybe sherwood pines and Hamilton Hill will do him for the time being? :p
