I have finally finished my exams :p and have 3 months summer holiday and I plan to bike for most of it, so if anyone plans to go riding during the week, post it on here and see if anyone else will be up!
I will be up on Wednesday (21st) in the afternoon! for a few hours!
Does afternoon count as 4 o'clock so i can skank a lift:?
I was thinking of a train but I counld have a word with Liz (my sister) If we could to pick you up after school or something and ill put your bike on the rack earlier!

Just me and fish this afternoon, Brill day Oh yeah did FT, which was awsome! We attempted to flatten out the trap with a vibe-raty-i-thing, but we were unsucess ful as the ground was too hard. TTT was really fast but damp so we were trying to draft round the corners lol and we started "tripping out" :devil: over flutter-by's (butter flys) :afro:

Yeah its loads better than it looks when someone else does it! Plus I did it without assistance so it feels awsome. The first time I did it I think I was going too fast but it was a smooth landing and the second time felt better though!

Thinking next week cos my dad is off then:D , Won't be monday because my dad has work related things on:mad: and not tues bacause i will be at the docs:\ :rolleyes: , who knows i might be able to ride:devil: I will post on here what the plan is!;)
ill venture down in the week, havnt ridden since that night in the arbo with dean and fish etc about two week's ago, so i need to catch up, maybe thursday iof anyones going?
I think me and my dad will be there in the week some time cos he had the week off for fort bill! Quite likely a day like thursday too cos monday and tuesday things are happenuing so i will let you know!

OOOhhh Gcse results! Good look! Today was good fun, lots of grip and alot of good ridin! My dad did the new jump at the very bottom of TTT and the new hip too! No one else was there untill when me and my dad were on our way down to the car then fish turned up although he didn't have his bike! Just checking up i suppose! Should be ok tomorrow but it has rained so bit touch and go!
i was planning to go up but my dad went to oswestry (the town i used to live in on business) so i went up and rose with my old riding buddys for the day! had a reet blash :)

just before KFC (the tidy drop next to the toolbox) go right down a little path just before the berm and follow it down

Been in the woods behind my house builting today with Charlotte Brown(Xpink) and a mate from town and we made this up in 2 hours!!!!! The dirt is crap and clayey to dig and mould with!

Friday 25th January 08. Up hill with dog - ankles still not quite right. Apart from a few puddles and the lake at the end of Old School and the 48er Everything's rideable. In fact some parts are surprisingly firm. If the rain holds off tonight, the weekend should be good. I might try to get up. See also "DANGER" thread.

If the weathers ok, I'll be up wednesday and friday this week, from about 9:30 till 3:30. I would have been up all week, but new wheels wont be ready for Monday and results day is thursday :p

DANGEROUS WILD ANIMALS
Watch out up the hill, I went up today for an hour and got viciously attacked by a wild animal at mid day in broad daylight. It was horrible, it just kept coming at me, it wouldn't leave me alone. Razor sharp claws and evil big teeth.
It was some kind of bad ass baby squirrel. Only about 6" long including its tail. I was pushing up from Patio and it jumped into the middle of the track right in front of me looking all cute. But really it was daring me to pass. It was making a pathetic crying noise so I guessed it had got split fom its mum. When I saw an adult squirrel nearby, I figured the best bet was to leave it well alone, so I moved away.....but it followed me and started squarking. Then it came right up and went to bite my shoe. I went to stroke it assuming this would scare it off but instead it just went ape.. like some sort of possessed banshee!! It jumped up at my face, squealing like a psycho-rodent, but I got my hand in the way and it bit my glove. Even after I shook it off, it followed me for a bit , hissing and squealing.
Watch out folks - it's a jungle out there.

you are aware that riding under the influence of drugs results in a permi ban ?
Ken, I was up yesterday (Wed) and something similar happened to me when I was pushing up the 48. The little feller scurried up my trouser leg (outside thankfully) and held on for grim death around my thigh. As he was obviously a youngster I thought he had mistaken me for a tree or something. Gently encouragement didn't work so I was forced to shake him off - took some doing I can tell you - they're hard to shift when they have their claws in.
And they think they've got it hard in Whistler with the bears!
I almost ran a squirrel over last time I was at the hill.... Maybe I angered the squirrell masses and they're now taking their revenge :eek:
Bears are nothing, they just want to eat you because they're hungry. That's perfectly natural. These mutant ninja psycho demon banshee baby squirrels want to scare you then eat you.

Thursday 11th March: beautiful afternoon, trails drying nicely. Even the wall ride was dry and had the sun on it for a couple of hours. I'd forgotten what a full-on take no prisoners hurtle tresspass and the wallride was. The way the trails are all established now, the riding should be great all summer
;) Yep and bonus you don't have to clean your bike
Thinkin of heading up tomorrow. Prob get up about 2ish...
