race shirts will be sorted by friday (i'll post pics on BSE thread!!)!!! i'll bring me camera and get some good vids/ piccies of you guys flying past... or falling past!! dunno which yet!!
Yer good look guys, should be a good blast
it went well!
i almost missed my race run though lol
got there jusrt as i was supposed to go
track was short with times verying from 30 to 50 seconds
Do you know how well you did yet?
not yet ill post them when i find out ;)
Probs take till about wednesday if they are like midlands! What was the track outline? Big jumps?
steep, tight wonky stairs and ridiculously tight corners no room for error, you wouldnt be able to put a bike sideways in about 90% of the track
:woot: sounds a bit tricky. Did you have fun then!!
yeah was good
did real crap on my run tho
pedaled to the top of bridgrnmorth (like pedaling up steep hill in lincoln on a DH bike) and went straight back down and hadnt had a drink for about 3 hours, it was ridicuolous
Was there no up lift or anything, or did you miss it? Is that why you nearly missed you start time?
All sounds tech!!! They really should have put an uplift on!!!!! Lets see a downtown race in lincoln next:rolleyes: could be good, much longer than 48 seconds for sure!!!
no uplift lol, iw was pretty poor but somehting nice to try and ease in to the "race scene"

good times were had by all!! good track but silly short and not very hardcore just techy! very few spectator spots so videoing missed most of track!! bit of a bummer really on that part!
The length of the track was a little dissapointing. But was was there was awesome.
Straight out of the start onto a short straight sprint into a flat almost 180 turn. another straight sprint into a very tight turn straight onto steps down 3 bigish sets of steps with a good gap beteen and then onto a few smaller less steep sets. after that there was another very sharp tight turn onto a sets of steps and another small set of stairs which were the only real set that were droppable a short sprint into another 180 turn into another set of steps and then a sprint along a long wide set of long shallow steps with another 90 degree turn and sprint to the line.
The que for a practice run was massive and in total you only got 3 practice runs at the max. I thought my race run was going real well flying down the main step section but i know i went slightly wrong on the second last corner and lost all my speed throught it so lost most of my time. But i think its an experience and a real good event to start out on all beit only 39 seconds long ( 36 for jayden, 2nd in hardtail )
