if someone can give me a lift and it dont cost too much then put me down!
how much will it be?
usually it is about £15 pre booked, and then i think we pay fragy(in other cases who ever booked it) £5 reservation fee, is this right?

sounds fine by me....
A lift there anyone???
Sorry not to be back in touch but been away at work with no internet. The price last time was £20 with everyone paying the first £10 to me ( i have sent a cheque for £10 per person to reserve the uplift) and the other £10 being paid to the kind man at the uplift cafe. I cannot see it being anymore this time. I will get in touch with the uplift tomorow to see if i can get Daz plus one on the lift. I can only get 3 people in my van which i think is already full but i can take a couple more bikes if this is any help?
xpink place is now taken and another place for Daz, so all places are now taken and anybody who drops out will still have to pay the £10 deposit if they dont find somebody to take there place.
Hatchetleader the number for the man at the uplift is 07795514251 he may be able to give you the last place but i will leave this for you to sort out as you dont know if you can get there yet.

i know all the places are filled - but if there's a chance for 1st reserve can i put a mate down. ste. if someone drops out i know he can be there with very little warning and will happily cough up some £££ for the pleasure. cant wait to catch up with everyone.

jay if you look back there is the number for the uplift i have taken 11 of the 12 places if you ring you may get the spare place. Last time they ran 2 trailers so maybe its worth a go.
haha jay, you said you wanted to go so i reserved u a place, numpty ;)
place isnt for me you spanner, i know im already down. that blow to your ankle affected ur noggin ben?
aaar well i heard today from matt that he cant make it so that spare place is free, there we go ;)
:D Thats all 12 places full now:D
The uplift starts at 11am, we do 5 runs then they stop for 40 minutes
We then do the final 5 runs which will finish at about 4.20pm
If people are unsure about lifts and getting bikes there etc can we try not
to leave it to the last minute to sort it out.
Cheers, see you there:devil:
awesome!!! really looking forward to it now! hmmm i'll try not to get there 2 hours before the start this time
So who is ready? We(Bakers and Browns) are planning on setting off at 7.30 to get there around 10-10.30 and then we can have a few blasts down the top section and get all sorted for the first uplift. What has everyone else got planned? Hmmm.... what tires to use, wetscreams, swampthings or nearly bald high rollers..... looking at the weather at the mo might need High rollers  lets see how the good old weather in county durham is looking when we get there :D
see y'all there
sorry to let everyone down but car isn't back from the garage yet. and even if it is ready tomorrow morning i think gloucester to hamsterly is pushing it abit for a few hours riding.
hope everyone has a gd day, sorry to take up a place then not be able to make it.

eek!!!! not too happy bout that!!
hope everyone else had as much fun as i did, sure they did!!
How the hell did that happen???
Glad everyone had such a great time, i know it has all ready been said but the trail was bone dry (except for the little puddle they left in the middle for Bakers wetscreams) ran really fast and made for a great day out. Shame about all the mechanicals but at least fish and myself have found our fastest way down the course because of it. DONT PEDAL!!!!!!

Thanks Fraser had a frantastic 1st time at Hamsterley and also a big thanks from the kids to, they thoroughly enjoyed it we all can't wait till the next one
Cheers Mate
Nice one Fraser :D at first i was a bit £ucked off about my mech and chain issue's  however riding chainless made me work the trail a bit harder and as a result me and fraggy (who joined in the not pedaling) had much faster smoother runs  top fun
