Rasen Dirt Jumps

just to kick things off then...... a new site plan(well done Danny & Ben) for dirt jumps at the rasen skate park was submitted to the town council which has now been approved :D so the plan now goes to WLDC planning dept as part of a formal planning application,this will take about 8 weeks :( to process.
i'll let know on progress as and when etc ;)

WLDC planning dept have now posted up application notice's so its now under due process.....we just kick back and wait for the objections :rolleyes:

well done to Ben for draggin this back on the agenda, by going to the local council meeting and making them listen;) ,i see after reading the article in the rasen mail that the town council have hung there heads in shame and fessed up to not pullin there finger out, plus today a counciller had quick word with Mrs Fish to say they would contacting me over the planning application.....bring it on :D

And the club got a little mention in there too! haha :p im hoping to be approached with a budget for the looking ater of the park, and get straight on with sorting the mess out

i'm sure they will be......however my role will be to oversee and complete the planning application :rolleyes: which requires all sides to be on board,thats park users,town council,west lindsey district council and local residents and their unfounded fears :D

That sounds like a lengthy list of things, all of which could end in objections. Hope it goes through though! Be nice to see them put to good use.

looks to be some developments, went down the park a couple of times this weekend, the existing jumps have been flattenend and hedges/tree branches have been taken out the way :)
