North shore conditions

I was thinking this thread could maybe be used for riders to post any issues/questions/warnings about the northshore conditions so other riders know whats happening. Sort of like the trail conditions thread but more specific. Good idea or not?

I know im sort of out of the loop on this given im not up the hill often, but what're the plans for the see saw? Its been broken for a long while now, are there any plans to repair it?

On a seperate note I was also talking to a guy in sturton who visited hami for the first time the other day and complained that the north shore line was in a bad shape and needed repairs I know theres the odd bump here and there but its certainly not that bad. I dont really notice it, and im on a hardtail?
