Lightbulb Springs

I was looking at my shock the other day and noticed that my spring is too "stiff" for my weight, so I clicked on to TF Tuned and used their calculator.

The info that came out was useful but I am a bit confused by the latter part of the measurements. I need a 350 spring but I don't know what the x2", x2.25", x2.5" means, and I don't know which size to get. Is it the stroke of my shock?

Can anyone help with this? Or any advice which size to go for.

I am currently riding 450x2.75" and I weigh 67Kg.

How do I determine the stroke of my shock?

The stroke of a shock refers to the amount of travel available. There are 2 ways of obtaining this for yourself;

It can easily be measured by taking the distance from the main body of the shock to the end of the shaft.
You can find it on the manufacturer's website. If you do this, you will probably be given a figure like '8.75x2.75”', where 8.75” refers to the overall length of the shock, and 2.75” refers to the shock stroke. The figure you measure should be between 1.25 and 3.00 inches. If you get another figure, you're probably measuring the wrong part of the shock!
Thats what tf say so i assume youd buy a 350 spring with a 2.75" stroke as thats what you had before. Hope this helps

yeah, the "2.*" number is the stroke of your shock, never change this, you'll be after a 350x2.75
