JULY 2009: Quite an eventful month.
This will hopefully become a regular, monthly feature to update you all on happenings during the past month.

After 3 years away form a bike I couldnâ??t resist the temptation any longer, so I am back with a new bike and a complete lack of skills.
What a month to make a comeback, Peaty is officially King of Downhill having won more WC races than any other rider since records began, lets hope he continues to expand his record. Also, a welcome return for Palmer!!! Yes Shaun Palmer is back on a bike and hoping to qualify for a few WC downhills. Back in the day, Palmer like Peaty today was a bit of a god, to this day I have yet to see a rider with his style on a bike. Good luck to you both.

Back to Hamilton Hill,
King of the Hill was a great success, a dry day and some very close racing. Full report <HERE>

Despite the weather, the trails are riding well with only a few of the bottom sections really suffering. I have no idea what happened to the â??BBQ Summerâ?� the weather experts promisedâ?¦ Lesson learned â??if it isnâ??t raining, get out and ride because tomorrow it will rainâ?�

Props to a couple of our riders ( I wont name and shame) for over-coming a few personal barriers. Including the large left hand hip. You know who you are.
Another valued member is currently off his bike indefinitely due to a non bike related injury. Hereâ??s hoping for a very speedy recovery.

Finally, after a few false starts and delays, work is underway on our Dual Decender track, its far from complete and will take many months to finish. What has been constructed so far is a taste of things to come, this is going to be worth the wait!
