October 2009 – Not much going on

Another warm and dry month, surprising really for the time of year.

Unless of course you made the trip down to Caersws, to enjoy the steep muddy trails.
Still sure you will agree it was a great weekend and the fire still roared. I was amazed just how different it all was after the forestry felling operations, I guess it will be another 30 or so years before we enjoy the tree cover we all know and love. Thanks to Mike for organizing it even though he didn’t make it himself and to Mr. Jones and co for laying down a couple of impressive tracks so quickly.

I have spent most of this last month messing with the website, trying to get it all running properly again, it took a long time but we got there in the end.

Not much else happened really, the race track has been getting buffed all ready for this season 1st race, should be a good one. (sadly come race day we had to cancel the race due to weather conditions and other issues, the race is to be resceduled in the next few weeks so keep an eye out in the forum).

Clocks went back, lights came out and the riding continued.
That reminds me; need to recharge the batteries again.
